Good evening everyone. Today I shot an aspiring model, Kriselda in the Hermann Park area. It was a very cloudy day and thus no great light to be had. We had already scheduled to do the shoot, so we went with it. We only had about 30 minutes before it also started raining. Hopefully we can re-do the shoot sometime.

Here are some of the shots from today.

Today I decided to take a walk through downtown while I was in the area. Scoped out some places that had some interesting architectural features.

Our city actually does have interesting things in it!

Good morning,

I've been an owner of a Nikon DSLR for more than 3 years. Until about 6 months ago, my photography had been casual, the usual vacation / tourist type shots or just documenting events. As I've learned more about taking pictures, I have been not only intrigued by this hobby but also about the value of good shots. My interests at the moment are doing stock photos, portraits, engagement sessions, or w
eddings. At the moment, my experience has been rather limited. In starting up this blog, it will force me to go shoot more often and receive comments / critiques about my work.

I do have a full time job at a Big 4 accounting firm thus my goal is to try to shoot after work and on the weekends. I will end this with just a few examples of my work so far.

Crepes are really yummy! Melissa and I were fascinated with crepes after going to Breckenridge, CO and discovering an awesome crepe stand. We thought we could give it a shot, making it at home. Turned out okay, but not great. We'll keep trying :)
