There's been a lack of updates here recently but I am re-dedicating myself to the blog and will at least update once a week.
I'm currently visiting Melissa's sister's family in Marble Falls including their 5 month old son Henry! He is the most adorable baby but spitting and drooling is pretty much the norm now. I'll probably have a few updates next week with pictures of the little Henry.
Last night we wanted to start off our long weekend nicely so Melissa and I went to a restaurant in the Heights that we like a lot - Raia's Italian Market. Their theme is based off of the many markets/eateries in Italy. The casual and relaxed atmosphere is just right for me and to top it off the food is always delicious. Melissa always gets the blue crab ravioli and the dish deserves 5 stars. I got one of their pizzas, which is cooked in a real brick oven. There are no pics of the food so you'll just have to go to see and taste for yourself.
The outside of the restaurant:
Their bread is pretty good too, dipped in olive oil and herbs
For dessert Melissa discovered this snow cone place in The Heights near our house so we decided to give it a shot. Coming from Austin, we had high standards since we were accustomed to SnoBeach. I must say, it was one of the best finds in a while. I got a dreamsicle (like I always do..) and Melissa got the blackberry based on the owner's reccommendation. Very very yummy!
